Pilates by the Sea
Enjoy the view of our beautiful coastline and our fresh salty air as your body enjoys the numerous benefits of Pilates with an added cardio component that is sure to increase your heart rate. A combination of traditional Pilates exercises and a fitness program that has been tailored to focus on your abs, legs and arms, ensuring you finish feeling inspired and motivated for your day ahead.
This is a serious workout, it is freestyle fitness Pilates. Focus areas for this class are your abs, glutes (your butt), arms and overall body strength, co-ordination and balance. This private group session runs twice a week and your aim should be to attend both. Classes use various types of small equipment including the magic circle, thera-band and more. This fusion of Pilates and fitness training will ensure you feel that muscle burn.
A full body workout targeting all muscle groups to build strength and increase flexibility and control of the deep core muscles. Classes use various types of small equipment including the magic circle, thera-band and foam rollers.
Group classes on a Pilates reformer machine. The reformer is made up of a moving carriage which you can stand, kneel or sit on, with springs, pulleys and bar attachments that change with each exercise. Great for core strength, toning, flexibility and body control. These classes are held at Pure Moves Pilates. Please see timetable for more information.
A total body sculpting workout with a fusion of dance, Pilates and ballet. Using weights, balls and resistive bands, this high intensity cardio class will give you the poise and grace of a dancer, stronger core, increased flexibility and overall lengthening of your muscles. Do you love the benefits of Pilates (longer and leaner muscles, tighter glutes and stronger abs) but don’t get the high intensity workout feeling you are after? Why not pack a punch into your Pilates workout. This class is an awesome fusion of boxing and Pilates concepts.
