Renée’s positive energy is infectious. Her pilates and fitness classes are physically challenging but leave you feeling invigorated. Renée teaches a range of different levels and styles of movement aimed at the fitness enthusiast and anyone looking to improve their core strength, flexibility and enhance their body awareness.
“Ultimately I want to teach the philosophy of movement. Pilates is a passion of mine, it is a great form of movement and has so many benefits, physically, mentally and energetically.”
Competing as a junior athlete Renée learnt at an early age the importance of eating the right foods and of the many different types of fitness training techniques. Her passion since then has been advocating the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
It was while working in London as a personal trainer that Renée was introduced to Pilates. Upon returning to Australia in 2006, Renée commenced her education with Polestar Pilates and has been loving teaching every since. Now an Assistant Educator for Polestar, Renée is keen to share her knowledge and passion with people who are looking to learn more about Pilates either for themselves or so they too can share the benefits of Pilates with others.
Education is a high priority for Renée, she has completed a Bachelor of Commerce, Diploma of Pilates and a Certificate IV Master Personal Trainer. This year Renée is undertaking more tertiary studies in Human Movement at the University of WA as well as various movement specialist courses and educating and mentoring Pilates students.
During five years of educating medical experts about clinical research Renée has developed an in-depth understanding of the musco-skeletal and cardiovascular systems of the body.
Recently Renée writes a weekly Pilates Blog for Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr about various Pilates concepts, principles and exercises.
Renée is a registered Wellness Provider with HBF (private health care rebates may apply to your session), a full member of Pilates Alliance of Australasia and Fitness Australia and also holds a Senior First Aid Certificate.
